The Home Energy Saver program offers eligible households an interest-free loan of up to $15,000 and for lower-income households, a discount of up to $4,000 towards solar panels, solar batteries and other efficient upgrades. On top of that, home batteries attract an upfront federal discount through the Cheaper Home Batteries Program, plus a separate NSW incentive for connecting your battery to a Virtual Power Plant.
